Facility manager, Dr. Tatiana Karpova, has 25 years of experience as a yeast molecular geneticist and cell biologist, also including extensive hands-on experience with live-cell imaging of GFP-tagged proteins by 2D and 3D microscopy. Her current research interests are focused on development of yeast as a model system for the study of transcription by in vivo imaging.
